How to Epoxy a Garage Floor

When homeowners ask how to epoxy a garage floor, our process focuses on long term performance and durability.

Concrete Preparation – We begin with concrete resurfacing by sanding the concrete walls and grinding the floor using diamond cutters. This step is essential for proper bonding and long term performance of epoxy flooring.

Epoxy and Flake Application – After preparation, we apply epoxy resin to the walls and floor, then broadcast decorative flakes evenly across the surface. This creates a durable epoxy flooring system with full coverage and no missed areas.

03.

Sealing and Curing – After one to two days, we return to apply a clear coat to seal the concrete. This final layer adds protection and delivers a smooth finish similar to a polished concrete floor. Dry time is about three days before full use.
